Alexis Behnke, soprano, is an emerging artist praised for her versatility across opera and oratorio repertoire. Her operatic credits include Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, the Foreign Princess in Rusalka, and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas. She has appeared as a concert soloist in Poulenc’s Gloria and Mozart’s Coronation Mass. Last season, Alexis placed first in both the Maryland and Mid-Atlantic National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Student Auditions and was named a national semifinalist. She holds a Master of Music degree from Towson University in Baltimore, MD, where she now serves as adjunct faculty. Alexis continues to perform in staged and concert settings while actively expanding her presence in the operatic and classical vocal world.
